This project involved constructing a berth for mooring cruise ships in the area of Palataki in the Central Port of Piraeus, next to the Themistokleous Mole, which was strengthened by heightening and extending the bumper wall. At the same time extensive dredging was carried out in the corresponding port basin by rock-blasting using explosives, a project with a significant degree of difficulty considering that it was carried out in the Central Port of Piraeus near residential areas. Supply networks and a helipad were also constructed.

The main quantities involved in this project were 400,000.00m3 of excavations, 230,000.00m3 of rock-fill & 65,000.00m3 of boulders.
