Work was done on the outer harbour at Marina Flisvos to protect the port basin and vessels from the prevailing waves, as well as to facilitate the entrance of vessels into the outer harbour.

The following work was carried out:

1. Completion of the sloping protection of the outer harbour (breakwater) with rock-fill and natural boulders.

2. Construction of inner quays with solid artificial boulders, and construction of superstructures with essential port equipment (cleats, bumpers, chains, etc.).

3. Construction of wharf P8, supported by foundations of concrete piles.

4. Construction of floor surfaces in onshore areas by laying subbase-base paving and a final layer of concrete.
