The object of this contract work was to construct an arterial road, 6,000m in length, connecting the main entrance to the Olympic Equestrian Centre at Markopoulos with Lavriou Avenue, as part of the projects concerning the recent Olympic Games in Athens. The project also included improving the existing road network and connecting it to the new artery via six (6) flyovers. The main quantities involved in this project were 296,000 m3 of excavations, 382,000 m3 οf clearing and embankments, 454,000 m2 of road surfacing, 286,000 m2 of asphalt and 15,000 m3 of concrete.
