This project comes under the category of roadwork projects and its objective is to carry out projects to protect the Athens – Lamia National Road in the area of Agios Konstantinos in the Prefecture of Fthiotida as follows:

• Repair work on the damaged quay wall on the seafront along the beach, on the right hand section of the National Road.

• Work on protecting the ditch and stabilizing the slope by placing anchored mesh on the part of the left-hand branch of the old Athens – Thessaloniki National Road after the northern entrance to Agios Konstantinos.

• Flood protection on the existing National Road in the area through the village of Agios Konstantinos by constructing or reconstructing discharge techniques (box culverts).

• Flood protection on the National Road in the area after the northern entrance and channeling of flood water away from the road adjacent to the old Athens – Thessaloniki National Road.
