A roadwork project costing 43,000,000.00€ which includes:

a. The complete construction of the section Lahana – Riziana on the vertical axis on the Egnatia Odos Motorway, Derveni Serres – Promahonas, section 60.1.2 of the vertical axis on the Egnatia Odos Motorway, approximately 5.58 km in length and a four-lane closed motorway with separate traffic intersections, including: the construction of a twin tunnel at Dorkada with a section length of approximately 0.48 km, the Dorkada tunnel building and the electro-mechanical installations belonging to this and to its service building, and the construction of an adjoining and vertical road network to the right of the artery, with a total length of 0.50 km and 0.58 km respectively.

b. Work on protection – maintenance – improvement of Riziana – Strimoniko section 60.2.1, 7.5 km in length, including: work to protect and strengthen the stability of slopes in 12 of the 24 existing trenches, work on improvement – maintenance of road surface and local improvements to geometrical elements on the road and work on improvement – maintenance of safety barriers. Project construction also includes small technical jobs, drainage of stormwater runoff, landscaping of flyovers and access roads, safety signs, slope covering, street lighting, modifications to Public Utilities networks.
