The objective of the project was to open up a twin tunnel in the area near the DEI plant in Keratsini with underground excavation, the construction and operation of safety installations (fire detection, fire-fighting, ventilation, etc) and tunnel monitoring and the construction of ground-level sections of the Avenue in the area known as Ichthyoskala, following the installation of the required service networks along the road (electric lighting, drainage, etc) and any modifications to existing Public Utilities networks in the area crossed by the Avenue.
